Brett was my partner for this year's Pro Ass tournament. I tell ya, he is impressive for a guy that only golfs at these tournaments.
Brett had to carry me for the first nine holes. Evidently using long tees after 18 holes yesterday was a bad idea.
But I got back into the swing of things for the second half of the game.
Even Marcie showed up. She has been our bartender for golf nights for the last two years. Recently, she got into a bad accident while riding one of her horses, and collapsed a lung. In just a few months, she is out on the golf course. That's a tough girl.
The dinner went well, and everyone had a great time BS-ing.
The ride home was boring, but I was happy to have closed out the golf year with the league again.
2010 was a seriously interesting golf season. There was a lot of angry golfing, a lot of golfing I don't recall, a lot of late nights filled with outrageous stories, and the wackiest golf cart driving ever.
